2018 Events in Sebring

Sebring is a small town in Highlands County with a quaint, downtown historic district and plenty of fun things to do. This year has held, and promises to hold even more very exciting events…

If you are a race fan, you need to make sure you race on over to Sebring International Raceway, where there are thrilling race events throughout the year. What we have left to look forward to this year is the FARA Sebring 500 on July 7th and 8th with a four-hour endurance race Saturday, four sprint races Sunday and the Driven to Perform Driving Academy for advanced drivers. Then there are the Champ Car Endurance Races September 22nd. International Motor Sports Association sponsors the Michelin Encore with GT3, GT4 and LMP3 cars. November 30 through December 2 is the 3rd annual Sebring Classic “Pistons and Props,” featuring vintage racecars and aviation exhibitions.

There was a cool new event in Sebring this April – the Sebring Soda Fest, with hundreds of flavors of craft sodas, live entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors; followed by a Classic Albums Live Tribute in May at the Lakeland Center. Lakeland Center also hosts the PCA Bodybuilding Championship August 25th and Comedian Brian Regan on September 21st.

The Sebring Airport…yes, the small town of Sebring event has an airport…is sponsoring the 42nd Air Race Classic – an annual all women cross country airplane race on June 9th. You won’t want to miss Oktoberfest in Sebring, complete with firefighter competitions, motorcycle firematics, live music, beer and food vendors. Then, in early December, Sebring Christmas Parade kicks of the holiday season.
